Our persons of the week are John and Sal Ide and their beautiful daughters Jaimie and Jordan. John and Sal both work as teachers in the Gallup school system. Encourage them in their important work! We also praise God for the ways Sal has provided Navajo language for worship services and for John’s faithful service as a children and worship leader. John also has served in many practical ways like chopping wood for the GLUE team.
Our persons of the week are Chris and Abbie Huizinga and their children Grace, Anna, Audrey and Eddie. The Huizingas have blessed the Christian community through their involvement in music, youth ministries and the Disabilities Awareness team to name a few. Chris serves as a mid school principal at Rehoboth Christian School and teaches Science. Abbie is currently student teaching at Church Rock Elementary School. The Huizingas are very involved in the life of the Fort Wingate Church. Please encourage this family as they allow Christ to live in them in this community.
Our persons of the week are Gary and Carlene Hoeksema. This week we express our thanks for the ways they bless us. Carlene and Gary bring enthusiasm and care to their small group. Gary often serves in our Alpha outreach ministry. Gary also preaches on a regular basis at Rehoboth and other churches in Classis Red Mesa. Sometimes Carlene serves local churches by playing organ for their services. We thank God for the bright presence of the Hoeksema’s among us. Let’s remember Gary in prayer as he is still recovering from a severe viral infection.
Elder The persons of the week are the Henrys (Corwyn, Nina and Dane). Take a moment to thank them for their participation in the Rehoboth Church family. God uses the Henrys to encourage others in so many ways, lets take a moment to encourage them by using the cards provided in the foyer.
Our person of the week this week is Danielle Henio. Danielle is the daughter of Tweety Henio. Thank God for the bright light of Christ in Danielle and for the gifts He has given her and also blessing her with her son Steven. Fill out an encouragement card for Danielle.
Our Person of the Week is Eileen Hale. Eileen is a deacon and helps direct our ministries of benevolence. Eileen is also a member of a small group and has helped for many years in our Alpha outreach effort. Let's encourage Eileen in all the ways she serves!
Our persons of the week are the Ippel family: Peter, Kari, Freyu, Jadon and Anaya. This week, Peter and Kari as well as Jadon and Anaya will be leaving for Ethiopia and Lord will- ing, meeting and bringing back to their Rehoboth Church family, their newly adopted daughter, Lam- rot. Your notes of encouragement will mean a great deal to them as they begin a new chapter in their lives! Also, if you would like to write a card to their new daughter, it would be a wonderful way to bless her with words from her soon to be church family.
Our persons of the week are JM and Tara De Young. We praise God for the participation of JM and Tara in the faith community of Rehoboth and for their willingness to be a light in the community. JM works for the city of Gallup and Tara stays at home with their daughter Evie. They are expecting a second child in February. They have been involved in small groups, Bible studies, the Wednesday family night and in the music ministry of this congregation. Write a note of encouragement to the De Youngs and pray for their family.
