Our Person of the Week is Tasha Baker. Tasha's infant son, Giovanni, passed away on November 11, after living for just 8 precious days. Giovanni's memorial service was held here at Rehoboth on November 18. Pray that Tasha and her family will hold to the hope of the promises of God in this time of deep grieving. Pray that they will experience the closeness and compassion of The Lord in clear and tangible ways. Please write a note of love and encouragement to Tasha, Raiden, and the family as they grieve the loss of their child. Encouragement cards are available in the foyer.

Small Group members and Madalyn is also involved in the Thursday morning Womens’ Bible Study. People remark that when the Coles give care it is marked by insight and faithfulness. Let’s make sure Don and Madalyn know how much we appreciate their friendship and care giving. Encourage- ment cards are available in the foyer. moving from Gallup to Michigan. Suzanne has blessed us with her involvement in prayer ministry, Alpha, walkout worship, church choirs, small groups…and more! She has worked in preschool programs at Church Rock School and at Rehoboth Christian School. What a living expression she has been of Jesus Christ! We have been greatly blessed by Suzanne and we will greatly miss her. Take a moment and write a note of thanks and encouragement as Suzanne and her husband Steve begin this new venture in life. Encouragement cards are available in the foyer. Audrey Fridsma, Sister of Marilyn Gjeltema and mother of Susan Fridsma (who we are
supporting in the Sea to Sea Bike Tour), passed away on Thursday, June 6. Please keep Marilyn and her family in your prayers. Our persons of the week are Eddie and Violet Henry. Eddie and Violet attended Rehoboth Church and lived on campus for years while Violet was Postmaster at the Rehoboth Post Office and Eddie owned a barber shop in Gallup. Now they have moved back to the area where Violet grew up close to Mariano Lake. Violet says retirement is good. They enjoy doing chores everyday, and God blessed them with a flock of sheep to care for. Eddie’s Parkinson’s disease has progressed and Violet is his primary caretaker. Medicine helps but takes lots of adjustments. His grinning is fading, but spirit is bright. He has good and bad days. They are no longer able to attend church regularly, and miss the worship and fellowship time. They thank you for your prayers and acts of kindness. It is Eddie’s birthday on Wednesday, June 12, so let’s shower them with birthday wishes and encouragement this week. Cards are available in the foyer.

They have gotten involved in various ministries in the church, such as coordinating the Easter breakfast and updating and maintaining the bulletin boards in the hallway. June 5 they are heading to Vanderbilt, located in Nashville, TN where Morgan will pursue an education in Nurse-Midwifery/Family Nurse Practitioner. Randy is looking for a teaching job in Nashville. Please keep them in your prayers and take a moment to write them a note of farewell and encouragement. Cards are available in the foyer. Our person of the week is Bob Jonkman.
