Wednesday Family Night Schedule
Welcome to Rehoboth Wednesday Family Night. Our prayer is that you will find something that will help you to Be His, Belong, Be Changed or Be Servants.
Please also consider how you might use Wednesday Family Night so that you might be a bridge to others so that they too may know they can Be His, Belong, Be Changed, and Be Servants. Wednesday Family Night will begin with dinner at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall and classes and activities will meet from 6:30-7:30 pm. The dates we will meet for the fall semester are:

Adult Classes Being OfferedDave Ramsey’s Financial Peace: A course on becoming financially “free” and living without debt. This class will be led by Chris and Nikki Van Slooten, and will meet in Jack Ippel’s classroom in the Mid School (#34). There will be a cost associated with this class.
The Good and Beautiful Life: Putting on the Character of Christ. James Bryan Smith remarks: “I have never met a person whose goal was to ruin his or her life.” So true! But our self-centered view of the good life lead us into behaviors like anger, lust, lying, worry and judging that bring about ruin. Come join us this fall as we learn to replace false beliefs about the good life and adopt gospel beliefs which help us grow in Christian character. We will meet at 6:30 in the parsonage (19 Pill Hill). Navajo Language Class. This class will be taught by Johnny Harvey and Rob Koops and will meet in Anna Newman’s classroom in the Mid School (#32). ALPHA is a course designed to encourage participants to think about the Christian faith and the meaning of life. It is for people from all backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints. Participants come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus and more. This is a great course for Christians and non-Christians alike. They will be lead by Gary Hoeksema, Bob Kuipers, and Chris Diaz and will meet in the church all purpose room. Rehoboth Thrift Shop. A group from the church will volunteer at the thrift shop as a service project on Wednesday nights. This will involve unpacking boxes, sorting and hanging up clothing. The thrift shop can also be available for those who would like to shop for clothes. The thrift shop is located in the Old Rehoboth Church and the Leader is Lori Banaszak. Women’s Bible Study. This group will use the inductive Bible study method to explore Scripture and is led by Stephanie Klumpenhower. This class will meet in the Mid School Library classroom. Fitness Center The Rehoboth Fitness Center will be open from 6:30-7:30 for those who want to “work out.” |
